I wanted to make sure she really had time to heal.

I just went out to tuck them in for the night and gave her crop a good feel. It's full but it's a nice firm full of food feel. Not squishy or gassy.

I NEVER want to go through that again.Flock Mistresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13655524576977244762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5267410526498787978.post-82220619634297608622011-07-01T14:23:10.964-07:002011-07-01T14:23:10.964-07:00I am so glad to hear that she is doing better! I thought at first she had an impacted crop. But found out at the vet that would be a hard crop. Hers was definitely mushy and gassy.

Actually, I'll have to blog about having a gassy chicken in the living room next to you. Now that's an experience!!!Flock Mistresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13655524576977244762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5267410526498787978.post-68527048727722666452011-07-01T07:10:13.763-07:002011-07-01T07:10:13.763-07:00Thanks Joan. Dissolve 1 teaspoon of Epson Salt in 1 ounce of warm Water. Once it is clear draw off the clear solution and give the hen 6-10 CC of it right down the throat. I use a syringe(no needle) to do it.

~~Matt~~Foothills Poultryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07266877566073323498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5267410526498787978.post-31683276009000062232011-06-30T21:35:31.670-07:002011-06-30T21:35:31.670-07:00Oh, I'm so glad Coco is better.
